Based on an old Moorcroft pattern this delightful vase is meticulously painted by Rachel Douglas-Ryder and numbered 97/200. The original mauve lustrecharacteristic of Hesperian ware is skillfully recreated on this pattern, which has a distinctive "Japanese" feel to the design of carp and water weeds. Priced to sell (below original retail).

Nigel Creed's multi-coloured woodpecker vase from Moorcroft Enamels was freehand painted and numbered 39/75 and signed N. CREED beneath the design.
